Reed first became interested in breathwork in 2020 when he stumbled upon Wim Hof’s breathing method, and he began practicing it regularly. Since then, he’s taken a comprehensive approach to breathing, studying everything from proper mechanics for optimal health to adaptive breathwork training for enhanced athletic performance.

Today, Reed is a certified Wim Hof Method instructor and a certified Oxygen Advantage coach. He trains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and regularly coaches combat sports athletes on improving their breathing and optimizing their performance.

Are your breathing programs for athletes only?

The Functional Breathing program is not specific to athletes, and can provide tremendous value to anybody who wants to reduce stress, increase energy, and improve overall health.

If you’re a beginner, the program is designed to give you everything you need to master your breath and your understanding of its impact on your body.

If you’re already a regular breathwork practitioner, then you will likely already be familiar with a few of the exercises in the program. The program may still be a great fit for you if you’re interested in gaining a comprehensive understanding of breathwork and how it works with your body. I’ve had customers who already practiced breathwork daily get great results from the program, and learn the WHY behind the exercises that they were already doing.

Expect to spend 5-10 minutes per day doing the exercises or reading the lessons.

No equipment is needed to complete the exercises.

While most breathing exercises are beneficial to everybody, some exercises are not suitable to people with certain conditions.
